Septic Filter Service

A septic effluent filter catches solids before they reach your drain field, one of the most common causes of drain field failure. We install new filters and clean existing ones. New filter is $199 when installed during a pump-out, and cleaning an existing filter is free with a pump-out.

Pricing
New filter $199 with a pump-out, 60% off the $500 standalone price. Filter cleaning free with a pump-out, $150 on its own.

What a septic effluent filter does

An effluent filter sits in the outlet of your septic tank and catches solids before they can flow into your drain field. A clogged or missing filter is one of the most common causes of drain field failure, and a replacement drain field can cost thousands of dollars. A filter is cheap insurance for the most expensive part of your system.

New filter

Don’t have a filter yet, or want to replace an old one? A new effluent filter installed on its own is $500. Add it to a pump-out instead and it’s $500 just $199, a 60% discount for bundling it with a scheduled pump.

Filter cleaning

Already have a filter? It should be cleaned periodically so it keeps doing its job. Cleaning is $150 on its own, or free when done during a pump-out, since we are already on site with the tank open.

When we do it

The most efficient time is during a regular pump-out, since we are already on site with the tank exposed. Add a new filter or a cleaning to any booking and we’ll handle it before we finish up.
