Septic Tank Pumping
The core service. Most homes need a pump every 3–5 years. We arrive on time, locate the tank, pump it cleanly, and give you an honest assessment of system condition.
Pricing
Starting at $375 in rural service areas and $475 in the Winston-Salem & Clemmons area for a standard 1,000-gallon tank. Add $50 per additional 250 gallons.
What's included
- Locate the tank lid (with extended hose runs as needed)
- Pump tank fully, including settled solids and floating scum
- Visual inspection of tank condition and baffle integrity
- Honest assessment of system health — we tell you what we see
- Clean replacement of lid and grade level
How often should you pump?
Most NC homes need a pump every 3–5 years, but it varies by household size, tank size, and use. A 4-person household with a 1,000-gallon tank should pump every 3 years; a 2-person household with a 1,500-gallon tank can stretch to 5+. We’ll give you a personalized interval based on what we find.
What you should know in advance
- Tank size (if you know — your county septic permit lists it)
- Approximate location of the lid (within 50 feet is fine)
- Last pump date if you have it
- Whether the lid is buried or has a riser at ground level
